What is the DriveTest™?
The DriveTest is the only sales test to accurately measure the most important trait for top producers: Drive. Over 80 years of sales research have shown that Drive consists of three critical personality elements. As detailed in the new book, Never Hire a Bad Salesperson Again, by Dr. Christopher Croner and Richard Abraham, these elements are:

Need for Achievement
The intense ambition to attain excellence, found in athletes like Tiger Woods.

Competitiveness
The unquenchable thirst to outperform and win, found in athletes like Michael Jordan.

Optimism
The certainty and resiliency that will not be denied, found in athletes like Lance Armstrong.

The DriveTest Difference


The DriveTest is the only sales test available that measures all three of these traits, and adds them up to a total Drive score, showing you whether your sales candidate has the potential to be a top producer. This feature makes the DriveTest a powerful screening tool, saving you time by making sure you interview only high-potential candidates. The Power of Forced Choice


The DriveTest questions use a Forced-Choice format, in which the candidate must choose which statement is most like them, and which statement is least like them. Furthermore, the candidate must choose between alternatives that sound equally positive. For example:
